Masters of Food & Wine Celebrates 20th Anniversary in February

Celebrated chefs and wineries from around the world will gather at the Highlands Inn, Park Hyatt Carmel February 16 to 19.
Recognized as a spectacular gathering of celebrated chefs and winemakers, the Masters of Food & Wine features rare vertical wine tastings, unique culinary demonstrations by acclaimed chefs, and extravagant luncheons and dinners.
Among the acclaimed culinarians participating in this 20th anniversary of the event are three-star Michelin-rated chefs Marc Meneau from L'Esperance a' Vezelay and Dieter Muller from Schlosshotel Lerbach, Eric Ripert from Le Bernardin and Daniel Boulud from Daniel.
The Masters of Food & Wine will also include more than 60 wineries, including Robert Talbott Vineyards, Pride Mountain, Pisoni Vineyards & Winery, Castello Banfi, House of Bollinger, JJ Prum, Kistler, Sassacaia, Heitz Cellars and many more. This year three Champagne houses will be pouring four of their greatest vintages.
The festivities begin each year with a reception featuring each of the wineries and thirteen renowned chefs. Each day that follows is filled with cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, luncheons, and extravagant dinners that featuring signature dishes prepared by some of the world's top chefs paired with distinguished wines from the United States, Australia, and Europe. Events are individually priced, starting at $100, and are open to the public.
A highlight of this annual event is the Rarities Dinner, in which an eight-course meal, paired with rare wines, is served in a private home with a spectacular oceanfront setting.
